Certus Projects were contracted by Inner West Council to design and construct the Bedwin Road Cycleway Bridge. The cycleway was built in nine months and was integrated into the cable bridge on Bedwin Road bridge.
Located at the intersection of St Peters, Marrickville and Newton, the cycleway bridge overall improves the connectivity between the Inner West neighborhood and Sydney City.
Key features of the project include:
- Implementation of new cycleway infrastructure
- Installation of safety screens and lights
- Piling works to support the substructure over the Sydney Metro Tunnels & adjacent to a Sydney Water Sewer
- Commitment to support Inner West Council and TfNSW to promote cycling and sustainable infrastructure
